06/14/26—Mission u registration is due June 14. The program this year is A Deep Knowing: Experiencing Emmanuel. There are two options -one in person at The Inn at Lewisburg Best Western on July 9 from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. or virtual from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm July 7, 14, 21, 28. Info and Registration forms are in the hall. First time attendees are eligible for a discount for the in person event. For more info, contact Jane Taylor.

06/14/26—Outdoor Church service will be held at the Lions club and a potluck picnic will immediately follow

the service. Sign-up sheet will be distributed.

09/16/26—Sight and Sound Theater, “Joshua”, 3:00 P.M. ticket price is $85.00. More details to follow.

Penns Valley Youth Center

Their mission is to provide students in the community with

hope, worth, and friendship. To do so we provide a fun and

safe environment in order to encourage healthy habits and

promote wise choices. Teenagers from every walk of life need

a place outside of the home and school where they can relax, 

have fun, meet friends and be themselves. We operate an After School Program that includes tutoring, workshops, healthy

foods, gym time and weekly family style dinners. We just contracted with a counselor to have on-site appointments available to students and their families. Over the past 8 years, we have worked hard to build relationships with the Penns Valley School District, local churches and businesses and individuals that are all working together to take care of the students in Penns Valley.

 Join us to see the Union Pacific's Big Boy locomotive as it passes through Huntingdon County on July 8th.

Meet at the church parking lot at 12:15 PM to discuss carpooling with whoever is there.  Note:  Due to Carl’s work schedule, he will meet us on site.
